Innovation Hub Construction Update Volume 8

Volume 8 / September 21, 2019

Just as the leaves change color here in the Adirondacks, transitions also continue to happen at the Innovation Hub at Northwood School. Watch and see how this transformative project has taken shape as it moves into its final months to completion.

The three floors of the building continue to be worked on simultaneously and the front facade and the staircase has been repainted. The Main Street Level has taken shape and Adirondack industrial design that will carry across all floors can now be visualized. The Main Street level has an open and inviting concept that extends to the back porch that opens up and showcases the picturesque beauty of Mirror Lake and the mountains beyond.  A significant amount of construction work with drywall, lighting and electrical work is underway. The second floor, the traditional learning center, will soon have three glass enclosed conference rooms that will retain the light from the front to the back.  On the Lake Level, the fabrication space, we are the furthest along we continue to anticipate construction to be completed for the 2019-2020 school year.

A gift is a powerful way to support the continued transformation and roots of an innovative approach to learning. To learn more visit northwoodinnovationhub.com.
