Affording Northwood School
Northwood School’s financial aid program is designed to provide financial assistance to families whose children would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend Northwood School. Our financial aid program is need-based and is guided by principles of good practice for financial aid administration. Families are expected to contribute according to their means, taking into account total income, assets, number of dependents, acceptable debt, financial obligations, and other appropriate information. This information should be submitted as part of each an applicant's Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) via School and Student Services. Northwood School is committed to supporting its students throughout their high school career provided they demonstrate financial need. Northwood School reviews its financial aid awards annually and adjusts them, if necessary, to reflect changes in family financial need and in the school’s total budget. For this reason the school requires each family to reapply annually for financial aid.
Families that think they might qualify for need-based financial aid should submit a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) at School and Student Services. Northwood's school code at the SSS site is: 5416
- Returning families should submit their updated Parents' Financial Statement to SSS by January 15, 2021.
- Prospective Families should submit their Parents' Financial Statement to SSS by January 31, 2021.
