Boys' Soccer Coaches

Jon Moodey
Jon Moodey, Program Director Boys' Soccer

Prior to joining Northwood, Jon served as founder and CEO of Black Rock Football Club. Before that, he served as the head soccer coach at Berkshire School for 11 years, where the won three National Prep Championships. While at Berkshire, Jon was also an Associate Director of Admission and member of the English faculty.  Jon brings over 20 years of experience in coaching and education to Northwood School.   Jon is married to Martina Moodey, a former member of the Spanish faculty at Berkshire School.  They have two children and reside on campus.

Kelvin Martinez
Kelvin Martinez, Dean of Multicultural Affairs & Recruitment, Foreign Language Faculty, Boys' Soccer Coach

Kelvin Martinez joined Northwood from the Fay School in Southborough, MA.  Mr. Martinez serves as Northwood's Dean of Multicultural Affairs and Recruitment. He is also a Spanish instructor and head coach of the boys’ soccer team. He is currently working on his Ph.D. at the University of Albany in the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Studies.  Mr. Martinez lives on campus with his wife Nora and their three children.

Woo Jin Jeon
Woo Jin Jeon, Math Faculty, Asst. Director Office of Multicultural Affairs, Boys' Soccer Coach

A 2018 graduate of Kenyon College in Ohio, Mr. Jeon received a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and played on Kenyon's highly decorated varsity soccer team. At Northwood Mr. Jeon serves as an instructor in the math department and as an assistant coach for the boys’ soccer team. 

Tony Mohammed
Tony Mohammed, Director of Operations, Boys' Soccer

Prior to joining Northwood, Tony’s career in higher education spanned nearly 20 years coaching men and women at the collegiate level. He has worked at St. Lawrence University, Vassar College, Carnegie Mellon University, and most recently Wellesley College.  In 2016, Tony became the boys’ varsity soccer coach and Assistant Director of Admissions at Berkshire School.  He holds a master’s degree in Education and a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma. 

Ugo Okolie
Ugo Okolie, Science and Math Faculty, Boys' Soccer Coach

Ugochukwo “Ugo” Okolie joins Northwood as an instructor in the Science and Math Departments and as a coach for the Boys’ Soccer Team. Ugo grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and attended Mercersburg Academy for one year. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, with a degree in Biology. While there, he was an All-American player on the Varsity Men’s Soccer Team.
