2020-2021 Girls' Hockey Season in Review

2020-2021 Girls' Hockey Season in Review

By Coach Gilligan

Despite multiple obstacles, the Northwood girls' hockey season was a success.  All eight of our graduating seniors will be attending college this fall and playing hockey. In all, we were able to compete in 25 games, in addition to 65 plus practices and 40 plus off-ice sessions.

Unfortunately, our season was cut short as the State Tournament was canceled due to Covid 19 complications, but the girls have remained positive and dedicated to improving on a daily basis.

They have been busy this spring, training and preparing for next season, as well as a few summer events that we plan to get together for and represent Northwood School.  These events will be the North American Elite Showcase, June 25-27th, and the East Coast Wizards Tournament, July 30th-August 1st, both taking place in the Boston area.

We all look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors and following their progression at their respective schools!
