'21-'22 Pathways Alumni Career Series Kicks Off

Pathways Alumni Career Series

Law Enforcement

The 2021-2022 Northwood School Pathways series will begin at 8:00 pm on October 13 with a most impressive panel in the field of law enforcement: Andrew Orringer ‘75, a Secret Service agent who has served as Special Agent In Charge of all SS Protective Operations; Bill Stewart ’69, a creator of two nationally recognized criminal justice programs and a Probation Officer in the Dorchester, Massachusetts District Court; Darryl Knight ’04, a lieutenant in the NYC Police Department currently working as  Leader of Special Investigations Team -- Group 52; Austin Orsulak ’11, a Special Agent working for the DEA.

The series, which connects Northwood students interested in a particular career to graduates who have had success in that career, began last year under the leadership of alumni Luke Daniels ‘14, Emily Roy ‘08, and Chris Zuk ‘09.  Christine Ashe and Stephanie Colby from the Alumni Office coordinated the logistics. This year Steve Reed and Tom Broderick provide that support for the returning alumni moderators, who have been joined by Justin Felhaber ’14. All students and teachers will automatically receive a link to the event. Others interested in participating should contact Tom Broderick (broderickt@northwoodschool.org) to ensure we have your most up to date contact information so we may provide a video link in advance of the event. Every Pathways presentation will also be recorded as a podcast for those unable to attend the original broadcast.

We are grateful to the alums who supported this last year and look forward to the season ahead and those who participated last year for willingly giving their time to our current students.
