Congratulations, Class of 2017!

On the morning of May 13, fifty-eight members of the Class of 2017 accepted their well-earned diplomas and celebrated their myriad achievements by ringing the Northwood Bell. The crowd of more than 500 parents, family members, students and faculty listened intently as alumnus and attorney Robert S. Valentine ’57 delivered the 110th Commencement address. “The individuals in this class will have the opportunity to change the course of humanity as we rocket through the 21st century,” he said. “Continue to be students, continue to investigate, continue to question, and continue to be awed by the world around you.”

As the ceremony came to a close, Senior Master Steve “Reno” Reed shared these powerful words on behalf of the school community, “We wish for you the most blessed and worthy lives; lives most surely realized not by doing great things but by always doing the small things in a great way.”

Class of 2017, congratulations and come back often!
