The Lake Placid Institute recently released the winners of the 2021 Words from the Woods Poetry Contest and our very own Jazlyn L. ’23 was selected as a winner for her poem “Drowning.”
"We are so very proud of Jazlyn and this award showcases how one's work in the classroom can be recognized outside the classroom," states Noel Carmichael, Dean of Curriculum Design and Faculty Development. "In Jazlyn's case, her poem will be published, which is a huge achievement for a high school student."
Lake Placid Institute will post the booklet on their website, www.lakeplacidinstitute.org by the end of April.
