Alumni, faculty, and families gathered at the Lotos Club in New York City in early December to kick off the holiday season, including alumni from the last decade featured above.  The event is made possible by Trustee and host Charles Morgan '52 and his wife Elsbeth and has become a much anticipated annual tradition.

On the evening of Friday, October 13th, a group of 14 students climbed and camped overnight on Cobble for a trip planned and led by Northwood’s Outdoor Leadership Education class, under the guidance of Mr. Jim Dingle. For 11 of those students, it was their first wilderness camping experience.

Northwood's new academic year kicked off over Labor Day weekend with the largest 9th grade class in the school's history.  A group of 32 ninth grade boarding and day students —  many of them  crammed into Mrs. Ransom's already tight quarters at left — were selected from a deep and impressive pool of applicants.
